In B.C., workplace first aid attendants must have a certificate that’s recognized by WorkSafeBC. TE training is required for transportation of injured workers.
- Patient packaging for transport, includes supine & lateral positioning for trauma
- Review of Patient Assessment
- Review of Critical Airway, Breathing & Circulatory Interventions with C-Spine control
This is an 8 hour course that provides the Occupational First Aid Attendant with the knowledge & skills to transport injured workers to medical aid.
Participants must hold a valid OFA Level 1 or OFA Level 2 certificate or equivalent (such as Red Cross EFA or SFA), and have the physical ability to perform the required learning tasks.
Certification is valid for 3 years.
This course is $119 +GST & includes all course material & certificate.
